How the Process Works

The BC PNP process includes the following steps:

Step 1

Select the Right BC PNP Stream

Choose the most suitable BC PNP stream according to your profile, such as Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level & Semi-Skilled, or Entrepreneur Immigration.

Step 2

Register & Receive an Invitation

Create your profile and register under the appropriate stream. Eligible candidates may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) based on their score, market demand, and provincial priorities.

Step 3

Apply for Provincial Nomination

Submit your complete application along with the required documents to the BC PNP. Once your application is approved, you will receive a provincial nomination from British Columbia.

Step 4

Apply for Canadian Permanent Residence

After receiving your provincial nomination, you can apply for Canadian Permanent Residence through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Eligibility:

  • Minimum personal net worth of typically CAD 600,000 or more, depending on the selected stream
  • Minimum eligible business investment (generally CAD 200,000 or more)
  • At least 3 years of experience as a business owner or senior manager
  • Active and continuous management of the business in British Columbia
